Answers

1. What cities does FunkyMonkeys.ca serve?
Funky Monkeys serves Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph. If you are outside of this area, please call call us for information on your area.

2. Can I customize my order?
Yes, customers may create their own bouquet from a large selection of individual balloons. If there is something in particular that you are interested in please provide approximately 5 days notice so that we can order in your selection if possible.

3. How do I place an order?
Using the following steps, placing an order is quick and easy.

A. Call 519-498-4795 or email order@funkymonkeys.ca to determine availability and to provide delivery information including destination address and personal greeting information (the card with your personal greeting that is delivered with your bouquet.)
B. After confirming that service is available, use the appropriate button to pay for order online. PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and cash through a PayPal account. We believe that PayPal is a safe and effective means for online purchases.
C. During the checkout process, use the COMMENTS box of the order form to provide details that may assist us in preparing and delivering your order.
D. After submitting your order you will receive an email confirmation and your order will be delivered as requested.

4. What are all of the charges related to placing an order?

For the Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph area, delivery fee is $10. For areas outside of this range, please call.

5. How can I learn the delivery charge before placing my order?
The delivery charge, processing fee, and applicable taxes will appear in your shopping cart when you begin shopping.

6. Will you deliver what I see or will substitutions be made?
For Mylar and Bubbles balloons, no substitutions will be made without contacting the customer first. Latex colours and sprays will be chosen to best enhance the beauty of the bouquet unless specific colours have been requested.

7. How late may I place an order?
The availability of delivery slots varies from city to city and day to day. To see if service is available when you need it, please call 519-498-4795 for confirmation.

8. Are same-day orders possible?
Please allow us as much notice as possible. If same day service is necessary 

9. How far in advance can I place an order?
Online orders may be placed three weeks in advance. To place an order more than three weeks in advance, please contact us by email or phone.

10. What are the delivery time options?
Online shopping offers the following delivery time frames.
9am - 5pm

Tighter time frames can be arranged for an additional charge in some cities, subject to schedule availability. Please call or email for assistance.

14. Can FunkyMonkeys.ca deliver to schools and hospitals?
Many schools and hospitals have restrictions on balloon deliveries. Please contact the respective institution for approval, prior to ordering.

15. What happens if the recipient is not present upon delivery?
Because many of us leave work early to celebrate special occasions, customers are encouraged to check that the recipient will be present during the scheduled delivery time.

When the recipient is absent from a place of business, we will leave the balloons unless directed to do otherwise.

With residential deliveries, prior to delivery we will call the recipient's phone number provided by the customer to ensure that someone will be available to accept the delivery. If no one answers but a message recorder is available, we will request a call back. If we have not heard a response by the end of the day, we will contact the customer.

16. How long will balloons float?
Float times vary depending on many factors. Click here complete details.

17. What is Hi-Float?
Hi-Float is a liquid sealant which coats the interior surface of latex balloons and reduces the speed at which helium escapes through the latex pores. When applied to balloons to be used indoors, it can increase the float time by several days. Hi-Float is non-toxic and water soluble.

18. How can I prevent balloons from popping?
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, sharp or hot objects, and some ceilings. Before releasing a group of balloons to float on the ceiling, release two or three as a test. Static electricity can also pop balloons and can cause a chain reaction.
